My name is Dunya (=World) and I like to create unique and heartwarming Gifts with a story using beautiful and easy to combine neutral colors and a variety of materials inspired by different cultures.

A curious thing happened once we relocated to Taiwan, Asia (2013-2016). The local design sense and healthy lifestyle started to influence my choices. I loved exploring new places and always kept an open mind and preferences, taste, style and a healthy creative lifestyle kept evolving.
S.A.D. - Standard American Diet
After moving back to America I immediately noticed some serious problems with our habits in the Western World that are undermining our potential and leading to a lot of unnecessary suffering.
How did we get into this situation, and how can we do better? How do we manage to spend almost twice as much as most developed countries on health care without exceeding average health outcomes? I have been doing a lot of research, read a lot and watched many documentaries. I promised myself to walk away from this SAD habit and focus on a Healthy Lifestyle.
With this website I hope to inspire and educate people on how to have a happy and healthy life.

IS THIS COINCIDENCE?
After our adventurous life in Asia we decided to move back to Phoenix, Arizona. One day strolling a Holiday gift market I found a cute little store selling products totally up my ally. I noticed a sign with a familiar logo, Santa Barbara Design Studio. Years ago I was hired as a Graphic Designer to work on a fun project for an inspiring, creative New York designer (Jessica Kagan Cushman) together with Santa Barbara Design Studio. I came in contact with the owner and found out SBDS is now a division of Creative Brands and based in.... the Sonoran Desert in Phoenix, AZ, though its roots run deep in Southern California.
After sharing my passion for on-trend gifts and my past experience with SBDS as Graphic designer with her I can now proudly say I got the opportunity to work again with SBDS on fun creative product design projects together with an inspiring hardworking team.
